Tuesday has seemingly become synonymous with tacos, especially for Julianna Syron and her family, making this her favorite day of the week.
Family time is a priority for Julianna, and this extends from the dinner table to the bespoke jewelry brand she created after her daughter, Belle, was born prematurely. While spending days in the hospital waiting for Belle to grow strong enough to leave the NICU, Julianna filled the time by beading name bracelets to lift the spirits of her worried friends and family. When her bracelets began attracting a fan base beyond her inner circle, she decided to turn her jewelry-making hobby into a side hustle and then her full-time occupation, all in an effort to help other families in need. This year, Names for Good has partnered with Team IMPACT, a local nonprofit that connects children and teens facing serious illnesses and disabilities with college athletic teams.

While juggling three children, a Labradoodle, and a burgeoning brand, Julianna still finds time to add sparkle that extends beyond her beloved bracelets. “I love finding the beauty in everyday moments and creating a life filled with magic, beauty, and LOVE,” she says.
We’re proud to partner with Julianna for the Boston Marathon weekend, selling her handmade bracelets at our 15 Charles Street store. Here, she shares more about how she spends her Tuesdays, the delicious way she spices up her favorite weekday, what she loves most about her life, and more in our latest Day in Brief.

Uwila Warrior: What is your favorite day of the week?
JS: Tuesday! We actually partake in a family taco night every Tuesday. The girls love it, and I find it a nice routine in our week. So, for me, Tuesdays are special and have been a favorite day recently.
UW: How is that day different from the others?
JS: I am big into traditions, even small ones, so it's nice that we have a mini tradition of Taco Tuesday each week. It's a day when I don't have to worry about what we are eating for dinner, and I know everyone will actually enjoy their meal. The girls are picky eaters, so it's fun to see them get excited about making their tacos and putting all the fixings on the table. We do our "gratefuls" over dinner, and it's a nice way to reconnect with each other over delicious food.
UW: What does your typical morning look like?
JS: Mornings on Tuesdays are usually the same as any other day. We have three mouths to feed, plus one dog. Everyone is usually out the door by 8, off to school for our two oldest or to music class for our youngest.

UW: What happens in the afternoon?
JS: Afternoons are a bit slower. I may pick up a few groceries or walk the dog. Then around 3:30, I pick up the girls from school or the bus stop, head home, and start on our TACOS!
UW: Describe a perfect evening for you and your family.
JS: All of us are in the kitchen laughing and helping to prepare dinner for Taco Tuesday. We sit down at a pretty table setting created by my girls for delicious tacos and to share our “gratefuls” for the day. Then a quiet wind down of bottle, books, and cuddles. Finally, a chance to connect with my husband before we pass out at 8:30 pm.
UW: What habits or moments during the day give you strength?
JS: Waking up before anyone else in the house and enjoying my morning tea in peace. I also love fitting in a short yoga class at home if I don't make it to a (very rare) early-morning class before the school bus drop-off. Finding intentional movement first thing in the morning is sooooo important for me.
UW: How do you power down at night?
JS: I light a candle. Or sometimes I'll journal or watch “Real Housewives.” It's all about whatever I need that day.
