The Uwila Warrior Wash & Care Guide
If the way you’ve washed your underwear in the past has been by tossing them in with the rest of your laundry and hoping for the best, you’re in the right place. We’re confident Uwila Warrior undies are the best you’ll ever wear, but in order for them to live their longest lives, you have to take extra-special care of them. (There’s a reason they call them “delicates,” after all.)
Whether you’ve got a collection of seamless undies, Soft Silks, or a combination of both, we’re breaking down the best way to launder your underwear and camis ahead. Here is what we recommend to extend the life of your favorite Uwila pieces.
How should I care for my Uwila Warrior undies and camis?
First, it depends on which type of undies you’re washing. Here’s what we recommend for each type of fabric.
Silk
To keep your Soft Silks, well, soft and silky the longest, we recommend hand-washing with cold water only, then hanging to dry. It’s also best to use a gentle detergent designed for handwashing that won’t diminish the integrity of the fabric.
While you can put these pieces in the washing machine and dryer, we don’t recommend it as your Uwila products won’t last as long.
Seamless
You can wash all of our seamless undies—including the Happy Seams briefs, Better Briefs, VIP Thongs, and No Brainers—in the gentle wash cycle, and tumble dry on low or lay flat to dry.
Should I use a mesh laundry bag?
A mesh washing bag is a great investment for keeping your undies in tip-top shape. Keeping your delicates separate from the rest of your laundry will keep them from getting tangled or caught on hardware such as buttons or zippers.
There you have it! These tips should keep your Uwila Warrior pieces looking good as new, as long as possible.
